As an essential business, we understand we have a special responsibility to maintain a normal work schedule. And even though we have changed some of our procedures to follow the recommendations of the CDC and the World Health Organization, we have not lost our commitment to providing service to as many homeowners as we can.
Taking Extra Precautions
Any Hour Services, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Air believe there should be no place safer or more comfortable than your home. Thankfully, we already had a culture known for the care we take to keep your homes clean and safe. That made it easier to quickly implement the recommendations of the CDC and World Health Organization to limit exposure for our technicians and the homeowners we service throughout the day.
- All “in-person” department meetings have been canceled
- Managers are leaning more on technology to manage technicians
- All tech training and manager meetings are done via Zoom
- Technicians are dispatched from their homes
- Technicians check their temperature before reporting for work each day
- Our fleet department is disinfecting trucks in the evening with an antimicrobial fog
- Parts and uniforms are delivered to the technicians to limit their exposure
- All technician trucks have been equipped with hand-washing stations
- Technicians no longer shake customers’ hands when greeting at the door
- Technicians have masks and gloves and offer to wear them on every call
- Technicians are supplied with disinfectants to clean their tools as needed
- Prescreening customers to see if anyone has a fever or has been quarantined
A service technician spends most of his day working alone, only interacting with the customers as they explain the work needing to be done and then again after the work is complete. Our technicians typically visit 2-3 homes a day. Our business model is ideal for the recommended social distancing being recommended.
If you’ve noticed maintenance and repair projects around the house you’ve been putting off until you had more time, our electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians are healthy and ready to help.
