Soap scum is a combo of mineral deposits and soap and typically those with hard water have more buildup of soap scum. It can be downright obnoxious to tackle sometimes. Try this tip on your bathtub, shower, or tile to scrub away the soap scum fairly easily.
- First off, when your laundry is dry & coming out of the dryer, make sure to save the used dryer sheets. It doesn’t make a difference if it is scented or unscented, they will both work the same.
- Wet the dryer sheet with some water and squeeze out any excess so that it is wet, but not dripping any water.
- Use the wet dryer sheet to scrub down shower walls, doors, and bathtub surfaces to remove the soap scum buildup. Start at the top and work downwards. You can fold the dryer sheet to be able to get to corners and crevices. Use sheet until it can no longer be used and – It will probably take a couple of dryer sheets to get the job done.
- Lastly, use a towel to wipe the walls and tub to remove any moisture from the surfaces.
- Enjoy your newly cleaned, soap scum free bathroom space!
